Holly Elementary School, located in the east side of Ladner, is a school community made up of a caring and professional staff, a supportive and active parent group, and a hard-working enthusiastic student body. It has a wonderful school culture – rich in the minds, hearts and attitude of kids, staff and parents too! The school is collaborative and inclusive, celebrating the personal growth and success of students. Annual school events and activities include the Terry Fox Run, Volleyball and Basketball teams for Grades 6 & 7 students, Hoop Shoot Basketball Challenge (Grades 5-7), Grade 6 & 7 Band, Track & Field (Grades 4-7) and Sports Day. In addition, there are opportunities for intermediate students to develop responsibility by becoming involved in various school jobs such as crossing guard, lunchtime classroom monitor and office monitor.
