South Delta Secondary School is located in the small, safe, family community of Tsawwassen. Tsawwassen is home to beaches, golf courses, parks, and a variety of shopping options. SDSS students show consistently strong results in all academic areas. The school offers a wide range of courses, including Advanced Placement, French Immersion, academics, applied skills, and fine arts. The school also has a renowned Musical Theatre program, which produces high quality Broadway-style musicals each year. Among the unique programs at SDSS, are the teaching cafeteria, a First Responders program, and the Film and Television Production Academy. South Delta Sundevils sports teams are well-coached and among the strongest programs in the province and include volleyball, football, soccer, field hockey, basketball, badminton, track and field, swimming, tennis, and golf. The school also offers an array of clubs and activities including Student Council, Interact, downhill skiing, and student leadership.
