Located next door to Seaquam Secondary in North Delta, Cougar Canyon Elementary School accepts, respects and celebrates diversity. It’s a safe and caring place that maintains high standards for student learning and behaviour, helping children be successful in school and as well acquire the skills necessary to be successful in life.
Annual school events and activities include the Terry Fox Run, volleyball and basketball teams for Grades 6 & 7 students, Hoop Shoot basketball challenge (Grades 5-7), Grade 6 & 7 band, Track & Field (Grades 4-7) and Sports Day. In addition, there are opportunities for intermediate students to develop responsibility by becoming involved in various school jobs such as crossing guard, lunchtime classroom monitor and office monitor.
