Sunshine Hills Elementary School is located in a lovely tree-lined neighbourhood in North Delta. The school and community work together to create a supportive environment for students in both English and French. The staff of Sunshine Hills Elementary is dedicated to providing the highest quality of education, believing in working as partners with parents and community to provide a positive school environment where children feel safe and secure. Students are encouraged to achieve their personal best academically, physically, and socially in an ever-changing world.
Annual school events and activities include the Terry Fox Run, Volleyball and Basketball teams for Grades 6 & 7 students, Hoop Shoot Basketball Challenge (Grades 5-7), Grade 6 & 7 Band, Track & Field (Grades 4-7) and Sports Day. In addition, there are opportunities for intermediate students to develop responsibility by becoming involved in various school jobs such as crossing guard, lunchtime classroom monitor and office monitor.
